Muddy Boots Photography: Mike + Marta {maternity session} Ottawa Gatineau Photographer

I am so ridiculously behind in blogging. So these next few posts are going to be quick 'n dirty. Just trying to GET 'ER DONE!

If you only knew how dark (for pictures) it was in Mike and Marta's place! I feel like a magician having been able to make what I did out of these shots. They live in a great little place right near the Rideau in downtown Ottawa, but there just wasn't a lot of nice, natural light to use... plus it was a dark, overcast day. So we did what we could, with what we had, then decided to meet up at the Ottawa Arboretum a few days later to finish our session. We walked around the park and got some really nice shots... all while keeping my third eye on my boys and constantly yelling at them to "BE CAREFUL NOT TO FALL OUT OF THAT TREE!" and "PLEASE DON'T FALL IN THE POND!" and "YOU'RE GOING TO POKE YOUR EYE OUT WITH THAT STICK!".

Thanks for your patience, Mike and Marta! You were great sports.

And I think the results were well worth it!
