David+Vicky+Thomas+Sam+Olivia {family session} - Ottawa Gatineau Family Photographer

I'm in love with the results of this family photography session. IN. LOVE. I want some of these exact same shots of me and MY family... I just need a clone of myself to take them!

After some lost-to-cyberspace emails and other mis-steps in scheduling this session, I'm so glad it finally worked out.

I squealed when I first saw the shot on the right. You can tell that, for Sam, 

the sun rises and sets with his big brother, Thomas.

Before delivering their DVD of images, I sent Vicky a link to the video, suggesting she wait to watch it with David... if she could stand it. Here's the response I received not long after:

Nope, couldn't wait...and even if the pictures were a little fuzzy, I have watched it 3 times and can't get through without bawling my eyes out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amy they are amazing, fabulous and I cannot thank you enough. You captured a side of my family that I know, but no one else gets a chance to see - it's there now in the look of the eyes and off guard poses....they are absolutely fabulous pictures. I will have to look at the slide show everytime the kids are driving me nuts....I cannot beleive that the feet one actually turned out, unless that was some very creative editing you did :)

I will definitely book another session with you...something in the fall when Olivia is walking.

I'm not even sure what part of this business I enjoy the most... I do love taking pictures, but feel the most creative satisfaction from the editing process... but I get a HUGE RUSH from hearing from my clients after they've seen their images. HUGE. And I'd be lying if I said it wasn't my goal for every newborn/baby/family session to make the mom cry. 


So Vicky? YESSSSS!!!! Mission accomplished!  ;)
